In this class, you will learn from start to the finish the key tips and tricks of creating a stunning 2 tier buttercream cake. After this course you feel confident in being able to transport your beautiful cake to its venue fully stacked.

Age restriction: 18+ only

Skill level: Intermediate - Some previous decorating experience would be required

Class hours: 10am - 3pm each day

Class includes:

    • Lunch each day, hot drinks and soft drinks from the pod
    • apron on loan for the day
    • A decorated 2 tier cake (the cake will be gluten-free)

In this class you will learn how to:

  • Cut, fill & cover your cakes in a smooth buttercream finish
  • Prep all your boards for supporting your tiered cakes
  • Master all stages of the stacking process to ensure a smooth stress-free experience 
  • Finish your final covering in a smooth and textured buttercream
  • Prep faux and fresh flowers for your cake
  • Apply faux and fresh flowers to your cake to get the best finish
  • Apply gold leaf to your cakes in a solid or scattered finish

Take home with you:

  • You will take home a beautifully decorated 2 tier cake to wow your friends & family. We will provide you with a box to transport it in

The cakes we will be working with are our gluten-free vanilla cakes. We are currently unable to offer dairy-free on this course.
Please note we do use nuts in the kitchen for anyone with severe nut allergies.

All areas of our kitchen are sanitised regularly along with tools and equipment. We have a 5 star food hygiene rating with Sevenoaks District Council.

ON ARRIVAL & DURING THE CLASS

You will be required to use the provided hand sanitiser on arrival. Hand washing facilities are available and will be required to be used prior to starting the class.

Our kitchen is kept well ventilated via our air conditioning unit  & extract fan system. This draws new air in and old air out.

Refunds will not be offered once the class is booked. If you need to change the date of your booking a notice period of 2 weeks will be required. If you need to cancel your booking before 2 weeks we can move you onto another class but cannot offer a refund. If you need to move your booking after the 2 week notice period we will need to charge the full cost of the class.

If there is a cancellation due to you catching COVID - 19 prior to the class date we will need proof of the positive result so that we can reschedule your slot. 50% of the amount paid will be retained, and 50% will be available to use on a future class.
